Introduction to commands

Business Administrator’s command system is unique and provides some of the most powerful features to be across the system.

Command Overview

The concept of command within Business Administrator is different from any other software because Business Administrator has certain issues that could not be addressed under conventional command systems. With this system, Business Administrator can maximise its functionality to full potential, and the intelligence systems, particularly, can make full use of the technology. It gives Business Administrator the opportunity to intelligently manage data. In this way, it will offer you unparalleled benefit and sophistication. The style of command is similar across Business Administrator’s structure, even in dialogue boxes.

The Command Bar

The Command Bar is among Business Administrator’s most critical components since much of its so-called 'intelligence' is driven from it. It is also the conductor of the Shadow Systems and the heartbeat of the system.

The Shadow Functions are a set of commands, systems and functions that together stream and manage data, commit to bulk calculation, support the intelligence system and drive Business Administrator’s strategic initiatives.

The Command Bar provides a command system that manages thousands of commands in a way that makes it easy for humans to work with. It offers managerial modes, running commands, fast access commands and a variety of 'ad-hoc' commands, all from the same zone. And it houses the Icon Panel, which provides access to a host of more static commands.

Command and dialogue boxes

In dialogue boxes, the commands (called functions here) always appear on the left side of the dialogue box. Although they are not as complex as those on the Command Bar, they still provide Business Administrator with the same vital service, sophistication and flexibility that helps the system achieve its goals.

ESCAPE always cancels a dialogue. It clears and cancels all information, and closes the dialogue, returning you to the current Manager.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The requirement to double-click commands does not exist in Business Administrator – in fact it could be treated as two single-clicks, which could be dangerous. There are situations where you can double click an entity to edit it, but double clicking is not useful on the Command Bar.
