Business Administrator release note

Todays release of Business Administrator marks the culmination of eight years of hard graft to develop what we think is the ultimate in business software. Not only has Business Administrator grown from being a small Excel spreadsheet to the huge machine it is today, but it must have undergone over a dozen re-rights as it found a position where it can take on the future.

It has not only been a huge programming exercise, not that that was ever the intention, but it’s involved a huge amount of research, both in finding the best ways of applying logic to a business, and in researching business needs.

Business Administrator is a business management powerhouse designed for small businesses. It brings together all the business processes and runs them through nine highly focused systems, called Managers. It is a system that saves substantial time and costs for owners of small businesses and offers a range of professional skills that they would not normally have access to.

Business Administrator is aimed at the SME community. It is already known by some business clubs, where a great deal of interest was shown, and it is becoming known elsewhere. In fact it’s been heard of in a few other countries as well, where interest is rising. We’ll offer it formally to businesses in other countries in the near future when it is positioned for them, and fit for use there.

And interest continues to grow.

Now, it’s available for use.

For an unspecified time, business owners can download and use Business Administrator freely. Towards the end of Q1 2008, we will be activating the AdBoards licenses and offer full licences for sale. We intend to offer full licences for sale from around £50/annum at the beginning to a mature price of around £400/annum in 2009: all prices exclude VAT.

Our efforts for 2008 will be focused on creating distribution channels, developing income from the machine and developing Business Administrator services. There is unlikely to be huge development of Business Administrator in H1 2008 because we want to see how it settles into other businesses, and how they get on with it. We do expect issues, and we want our entire resources available to resolve those.

Our efforts will also be focused on the development of Business Administrator World, the website that binds all the Business Administrators together, allowing them to share information and trade, and providing a platform on which businesses can socialise.

Business Administrator Network (BAN) messaging is almost complete and should be released at end of Q1 2008 at the latest, possibly before then. The BAN system builds on the benefits brought by Business Administrator by allowing businesses to sensibly and easily share the information they have to effect better and more trade.

We do want to keep communication channels open, particularly through Business Administrator World. Do provide us with feedback, positive and negative, as this should form our maps for the future.

Meanwhile, may we wish you a very happy and prosperous 2008.
